Our mission
Why heilys® exists
The name heilys combines "heil" – in the sense of healing – with "lys," the Nordic word for light. For us, heilys means: healing light.
The name also describes our mission:
How knowledge becomes a heilys® product
1. Ask and research
We start with a specific application and the question of which light parameters make sense for it.
2. Develop and measure
Spectrum, intensity, optics, light distribution, heat generation and operation are developed and tested as one integrated system.
3. Test and support
Before shipping, functionality and defined quality parameters are checked. For us, instructions for use and personal support are part of the product.
The research expertise behind heilys®
Our scientific advisory board brings together expertise in biophotonics, preventive medicine and the life sciences.
