A larger device is not automatically better. What is crucial is how large the area you regularly want to illuminate is.
For individual body parts like knees, neck, hands, or shoulders, a compact device is often sufficient. If you want to illuminate several or larger body areas, a panel is more comfortable: it covers more surface area at once and needs to be repositioned less often during use.
In short: Compact devices are ideal for targeted applications. Panels save time and are better suited for large-area or versatile applications.
Classic infrared heat lamps work mainly via intense heat. In contrast, healys® devices use specifically selected wavelengths from the red and near-infrared light spectrum.
Depending on the product, the wavelengths and functions are tailored to specific applications – for example, larger body areas, facial skin, the workplace, or evening lighting. A pleasant warmth may be generated during use. However, it is a side effect and not comparable to the intense heat of a classic heat lamp.
How quickly you perceive changes depends on your application goal, the chosen product, and your individual reaction.
Some people may notice a pleasant feeling of warmth, relaxation, or fresher skin early on. Changes in skin appearance or longer-term effects on regeneration and well-being often require several weeks of regular use.
Therefore, what is important is not a session that is as long or intense as possible, but a consistent routine. Results may vary individually. heilys® products are not medical devices and do not replace medical treatment.

The appropriate duration depends on the device, the distance, and the body area being illuminated. For many products, an application is approximately in the range of 5 to 20 minutes per body area.
It's best to start with shorter sessions and moderate intensity. If tolerated well, you can adjust the application according to the product recommendation. Regularity is usually more important than particularly long applications – because more light does not automatically lead to better results.
You will always find the exact recommendation on the respective product page and in the operating instructions.
When used as intended, red and near-infrared light are generally well tolerated. However, always follow the instructions for the respective product.
Before use, we recommend consulting a doctor if you are pregnant, for example, take photosensitizing medications, suffer from severe photosensitivity or an existing illness, or wear medical implants.
Open, weeping, severely irritated, or acutely inflamed skin areas should not be directly illuminated. Discontinue use if it feels uncomfortable or unexpected symptoms occur.
This depends on the product and application. For particularly bright devices, facial applications, or sensitive eyes, we recommend using the included protective eyewear. Alternatively, you can keep your eyes closed for many applications.
Generally, you should not look directly into the LEDs. Devices like the Vision mode of the Gen30+ Vision or the FaceMask have their own application instructions, as they were specifically developed for use on or around the face. Therefore, always refer to the recommendations on the respective product page.
Deliveries within the EU are currently free of charge. You have a 30-day right of withdrawal from the date of receipt of the goods. In the event of a normal withdrawal, you bear the direct return costs; in the event of a confirmed defect, heilys® will cover the return costs.
In addition, warranty periods of two to five years apply depending on the product. heilys® grants a five-year warranty on the panels of the Gen-series. The applicable warranty can be found on the product page.
