Unlike sunlight, heilys offers targeted light wavelengths without the harmful UV rays. It allows for concentrated treatment in a short time and can be done at home, regardless of weather conditions.

Yes, there is a "biphasic dose response" in photobiomodulation. Too high a dose of light can diminish the positive effect. Therefore, we recommend limiting application to 10-20 minutes per illuminated area at a distance of 15-50 cm.

Yes, the application is safe and non-invasive. When used correctly, there are few known side effects. However, it is recommended to protect your eyes during use and maintain an appropriate distance from the device.

For optimal results, we recommend a distance of 15-60 cm, depending on the area being treated, and a duration of 10-20 minutes per session. Here are some specific recommendations:
- Skin health: 45-60 cm distance for approx. 8 minutes.
- Joint pain: 15-30 cm distance for approx. 10 minutes.
- Muscle recovery: 15-30 cm distance for approx. 12 minutes.
- Boost energy levels: 30-60 cm distance for approx. 10 minutes.
- Wound healing: 15 cm distance for approx. 7 minutes.
- Sleep improvement: 30-45 cm distance for approx. 7 minutes.
- Weight loss: 15 cm distance for approx. 10 minutes.
Multiple sessions per day are possible, but the total time for a specific area should not exceed 30 minutes per day, divided into 2-3 sessions.

The session can be performed at any time of day:
- Morning: To boost energy and improve mood.
- Afternoon: For relaxation and muscle recovery after physical activity.
- Evening: To promote relaxation and prepare the body for sleep. It is ideal to use it about 1-2 hours before bedtime.
For evening applications, we recommend the invisible NIR spectrum to avoid overstimulation.

The panels differ only in their irradiation area and the number of LEDs installed. This means that, depending on the panel size, more cells can be stimulated simultaneously in one session. All other functions and features are identical across all panels, including the same 6 wavelengths, app control, and dimming function.

To protect the eyes, especially for sensitive individuals or for evening applications, we include protective glasses. They protect the eyes from possible overstimulation by strong light. Wearing protective glasses is not mandatory – alternatively, you can simply close your eyes during the application.

The red spectrum (RED) is absorbed more superficially and is particularly effective for skin health. The NIR spectrum penetrates deeper into the tissue and is ideal for treating deeper tissues such as muscles and joints.

Both spectra are often used together as they work synergistically. For evening applications, we recommend the NIR spectrum to avoid affecting sleep quality.

The panels operate with ultra-quiet fans and produce only minimal noise. The volume is approx. 36 dB at 15 cm distance and approx. 33 dB at 50 cm distance.
